This blender is extremely powerful. There are nine power levels, and anything above 7 needs two hands to control the machine. It makes very quick work of soups and sauces, although like all hand held immersion blenders, the final product is not as smooth as you would get with a regular blender.

The blender is much larger than I expected: it’s about 17 inches long when assembled, and weighs nearly 2 pounds. It appears to be very robust and well-made, although the clips that hold the blade attachment to the handle are small and plastic — that may be a long term durability issue. The speed dial and on/off switch are well covered so that the handle is very easy to keep clean. The blade attachment is easily cleaned by rinsing under the tap. There is no cord storage: I wrap the cord around the handle and keep it in the mixing jar.
Powerful, easy to use immersion blender

This product from Amazon is as it was said to be and more. I have used it many times since I received it. It is powerful, has multiple speeds and is easy to use and clean. I’m pleased with it. The measuring and covered container that came with it is something I would not have known to buy but is very handy.Hand held blender

I really like this blender. I use it frequently to make smoothies and to blend soups for a thicker consistency and have also used it to make pesto. I think the real benefits of this appliance are the facility of cleanup and the ability to stick it right into whatever you’re cooking without the need to transfer food to another container as you would with a traditional blender or food processor. The mixing container that accompanies it is also a gem; it makes measuring ingredients easy and is a nice size, especially for making shakes or smoothies. Only minor complaints: it’s a bit bulky (note the measurements), and the cord is thick and a bit unwieldy. I cannot compare it to other hand blenders because I have never owned another, but I would highly recommend this product if you want a solid tool that will make your cooking life a little easier.Great addition to my kitchen

Bought one for my son-in-law for Christmas, and decided I needed one for me..
Heavy, handles fine, does just what I want it to do… Those that wrote
saying they had a hard time with it, or it was clumsy, or hard to assemble, etc.
don’t know what they’re talking about… It’s great for just what it’s designed
    to do!Excellent

A very handy tool – while the cord is somewhat cumbersome the ability to run as long as I need it to without discharging is worth the price. I am unclear if it can support a beater attachment or not.kitchen aid kbh100er
